Summer Food Program

The Champlain Valley School District will be providing to-go breakfasts and lunches for anyone under the age of 18 this summer.  Beginning July 6th, the food will be available for pick up from SCS between 10:30 and 11:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The school will not be delivering meals to families this summer.  Full information about the school’s program can be found here

Please note, you must sign up for these meals so that the school will know how many meals to make.  The signup sheet can be accessed through the above website.  If you have questions or special requirements, please call Scott Wagner at 802-871-6198.

The Shelburne Food Shelf (SFS) will be supplementing this school program all summer. 

SFS will provide breakfast and lunch staples the week of June 29 (when the school employees are off).  This can be picked up at the school on Friday June 26 between 9 and 10:30 am.  Because of COVID, we must prepack bags so there will be less choice.  When you come to pick up, we will place bags on the table, and you can then get out of your car to get those bags.    

Every other week of the summer, SFS will supplement the school meal program with breakfast staples, fresh veggies, snacks and fruit.  These foods will be provided on Fridays between 10:30 and 11:30 -  the same time as the school meal program pick-up.
